We’re looking for a driven and curious Account Executive to join our growing team. If you love talking to people, thrive in fast-paced environments, and want to be part of a mission-driven company working at the intersection of law and tech—we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do

As an Account Executive at Alma, you’ll be on the front lines helping individuals and startups navigate the U.S. immigration system with more clarity and confidence. You’ll own the sales cycle from qualification to first conversation to closed deal—working closely with clients, attorneys, and our broader team to deliver tailored solutions that make a real difference in people’s lives.

Here’s what you can expect to spend your time on:

  • Engaging directly with leads—building trust, asking the right questions, and showcasing how Alma can support their unique immigration goals.

  • Managing the full sales process: qualifying prospects, running discovery calls, presenting our platform, and guiding people through decision-making with empathy and clarity.

  • Collaborating with marketing to follow up on campaigns, webinars, and inbound interest.

  • Using tools like HubSpot to track activity, manage your pipeline, and surface insights that help us grow smarter.

  • Partnering with our legal team to ensure clients get a seamless handoff and excellent experience post-sale.

  • Sharing feedback from the field with our product and marketing teams to keep improving our offering.

You Should Apply If:

  • You have 2+ years of experience in sales or account management, ideally in SaaS or professional services.

  • You’re a natural relationship builder with exceptional communication skills.

  • You thrive in startup environments—where things move fast, evolve constantly, and you can help shape how we do things.

  • You genuinely care about helping immigrants and founders succeed.

  • You’re organized, resourceful, and proactive. You don’t wait for perfect instructions—you ask smart questions and figure things out.

  • You’re excited by the idea of working cross-functionally, especially alongside legal and tech teams.

You Should NOT Apply If:

  • You’re looking for a traditional sales role focused only on quotas and commissions—we’re building relationships, not just pipelines.

  • You view sales as purely transactional—we believe in consultative, trust-based selling that supports people through high-stakes decisions.

  • You’re mainly motivated by making money—this role is mission-driven and people-focused at its core.

  • You prefer to work in a silo and don’t enjoy collaborating across teams—our sales team works closely with legal, product, and marketing every day.

  • You’re not comfortable with change or ambiguity—we’re a fast-moving startup, and iteration is part of how we grow.

Bonus Points If You:

  • Have experience using HubSpot or other CRM platforms.

  • Have some familiarity with U.S. employment-based immigration (like H-1Bs, O-1s, or EB-2 NIWs).

  • Have worked at an early-stage startup and understand the pace (and opportunity) that comes with it.
