Job Description

Clearco is the leader of data-driven e-commerce funding and has advanced over $2.5 billion in non-dilutive capital to over 10,000 businesses. We help eCommerce brands grow through our invoice and receipt funding offerings. As an Account Manager on the Founder Success team, you’ll be helping lead the charge on retaining and growing our existing client base, as well as re-engaging accounts who have previously funded with Clearco.

What you’ll do:

  • Become an expert on Clearco’s platform, services, and the eCommerce growth funding landscape.

  • Drive funding originations from a territory comprising engaged accounts, accounts requiring renewal, and lapsed accounts.

  • Cultivate strong customer relationships with business owners, founders, and executives, helping them navigate Clearco’s product and financial evaluation process so that they can secure funding.

  • Advocate internally for customers, helping our internal Risk, Diligence & Credit teams have a clear view on customer creditworthiness and growth opportunities.

You’ll thrive if you:

  • Have 4+ years of experience in a customer success manager, inside sales or account manager role where you have carried a revenue target.

  • You have developed upsell/cross-sell skills - you’re comfortable conveying Clearco’s value, securing customer commitments and being measured on your revenue production.

  • Have superior verbal and written communication skills - you’re able to effectively articulate complex or sophisticated concepts to a less sophisticated audience, and their response back.

  • Can quickly acquire new knowledge and/or skills and adapt to new situations by being open to and quickly implementing feedback.

  • Can navigate conversations in a professional and consultative manner by focusing on building relationships, understanding obstacles, and providing relevant solutions.

  • Have previous experience in a B2B Financial Services, Fintech or SaaS environment.

  • Have experience with a tech stack involving a CRM (we use Salesforce), engagement platform (we use Outreach), and internal communication and knowledge-sharing software (we use Slack and Notion).
