Job Description

Company Description

BRCGS is a globally trusted leader in supply chain assurance. Our standards and services support over 30,000 sites in more than 130 countries. We help brands protect consumers, meet regulatory demands, and drive continuous improvement across global supply chains.

We’re hiring a Project Manager to join the BRCGS Digital Team, who will be responsible for delivering strategic, cross-functional projects across our business - from digital products and training, to standards, quality and integrity services.

If you're a clear-thinking, organised and delivery-focused professional who thrives on driving meaningful change, we’d love to hear from you.

Job Description

You’ll report to the Senior Leader of Digital Strategy and Operations and play a central role in delivering cross-functional projects that support BRCGS’s strategic priorities. These projects are often complex and collaborative, bringing together teams from across Standards, Integrity, Training, Digital Products, and more.

You’ll lead each project from initial brief through to completion, setting clear plans, managing risk, tracking budgets and timelines, and ensuring everyone stays aligned and informed. You’ll act as the point of contact, connecting internal customers and external partners to keep projects moving and outcomes delivered.

We’re looking for someone who’s confident navigating complexity, influencing across teams and keeping people on track without slowing them down.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Lead the delivery of diverse, cross-functional projects from end to end
  • Coordinate timelines, budgets, and resources across departments
  • Use our product development stage-gate process to structure delivery
  • Set up and manage governance frameworks, KPIs, and stakeholder roles
  • Provide clear, regular updates—including reports for senior leadership and SteerCo
  • Keep documentation organised and accessible, and meeting actions on track
  • Run lessons learned sessions and help embed what works across the team
  • Support the continuous improvement of our delivery frameworks and tools
  • Ensure clear project handovers, capturing ownership and outcomes.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

Strong project management skills and a collaborative approach. You should be comfortable handling multiple initiatives, engaging with senior stakeholders, and maintaining momentum in a fast-moving environment.

You’ll have:

  • Hands-on experience delivering cross-functional projects to time and budget
  • A solid understanding of delivery frameworks (Prince2, Agile, Waterfall or hybrid)
  • Experience leading digital, training, standards or operational projects
  • Confidence creating project documentation (RACI, reports, trackers, action logs)
  • Familiarity with project tools like Smartsheet, Jira, Asana or similar
  • A good grasp of budgeting, risk management, and performance tracking

Strong written and verbal communication is key—you’ll be translating plans, issues, and updates in a way that builds trust and drives action.

Who thrives here

This role suits someone who:

  • Stays calm and solutions-focused under pressure
  • Communicates clearly and collaborates with ease
  • Balances detail with big-picture thinking
  • Is organised, structured, and proactive
  • Enjoys helping others deliver their best work

We’re a values-led, purposeful business with global reach and ambitious plans. We care deeply about the work we do, and the impact it has on supply chains, brands, and consumers around the world.
