We’re seeking a Director of Engineering to lead our engineer team and help build the software solutions that fleets desperately need to unlock the power of connected and electric vehicles. You’ll play a foundational role in setting the technical and organizational direction for engineering, and help define the future of mobility while empowering thousands of businesses to switch to electric vehicles. This is a rare opportunity to lead in a rapidly evolving market with enormous growth potential.
Responsibilities
Provide technical and strategic leadership across backend engineering, infrastructure, and platform architecture.
Manage and grow a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership, excellence, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate cross-functionally with design, customer experience, product, and sales teams, as well as key customers, to define and deliver impactful features.
Drive the design and execution of scalable, reliable, and secure systems to support our fleet management platform as we scale.
Guide decisions around systems architecture, data modeling, and service design while balancing speed with long-term maintainability.
Oversee backend service deployment, observability, and incident response to ensure reliability and uptime.
Identify and address scaling challenges, technical debt, and performance bottlenecks across the stack.
Stay close to customers and industry trends to ensure our product and technical roadmap align with evolving fleet needs.
