Position Overview:
Vantage is shaping the future of Retail Media — and we're growing fast. We're looking for a commercially driven Sales Director to lead strategic growth across the US enterprise retail landscape. If you have experience selling complex Martech or Retail Activation solutions into top-tier retailers and thrive in early-stage, high-growth environments — we want to hear from you.
This role is ideal for someone who positions like a trusted advisor, owns the full sales cycle, and collaborates deeply across teams. You'll be joining a sharp, mission-driven team with real momentum — and your impact will be felt immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development:
Personally own the full sales cycle for strategic enterprise retail prospects, from first meeting to close.
Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities that align to our ICP and GTM strategy.
Generate, foster, and convert qualified leads across the US enterprise retail landscape.
Develop and deliver compelling, insight-led proposals that align to customer objectives.
Strategic Positioning & Relationship Building:
Establish trust and thought leadership with senior stakeholders as well as their team (media, marketing, and merchandise).
Lead with value and conviction — this isn't transactional sales, it's consultative partnership building.
Actively contribute to market conversations, whether via industry events, digital channels, or customer advisory sessions
Collaboration & Execution:
Partner with internal teams (product, solutions, marketing, exec) to tailor value narratives and coordinate delivery.
Maintain precise forecasting and reporting hygiene within HubSpot and internal systems.
Operate with a builder's mindset — iterate, refine, and contribute to the evolution of our sales motion.
Skills & Qualifications:
10+ years of enterprise sales experience, with at least 5+ years selling into large retailers.
Experience at a Customer Data Platform, Marketing Automation Vendor, or Retail Activation/Fulfillment Platform.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
Strong executive presence and communication skills — someone who can speak CMO, CTO, and GM in equal measure.
A passionate project manager — thrives on planning, owning timelines, and driving initiatives to the finish line, in work and beyond.
