Account Executive – Northeast
Location: Remote (Northeast US preferred)

About the Role:
Kognitos is transforming how enterprises automate business processes — using natural language, not code. As we expand across the Northeast, we’re looking for a driven, enterprise-minded Account Executive to take ownership of this key region and help us land and grow strategic customers.

This role is ideal for someone with deep B2B sales experience, a strong understanding of enterprise operations (across industries like manufacturing, healthcare, financial services, and tech), and a hunger to build in a fast-moving startup environment. You’ll be at the forefront of evangelizing a category-defining product that’s reshaping how companies think about automation.

Key Responsibilities

Territory Development

  • Own and drive go-to-market strategy across the Northeast region

  • Identify and prioritize high-value enterprise targets across multiple verticals

  • Develop a strong pipeline through outbound prospecting, channel relationships, and strategic networking

Client Engagement

  • Build and maintain relationships with mid-level and senior decision-makers, including operations, engineering, and C-suite leaders

  • Conduct tailored discovery to understand business needs and automation opportunities

  • Position Kognitos as a strategic partner that reduces operational complexity and unlocks scale

Sales Execution

  • Deliver compelling demos and proposals aligned to each customer's business priorities

  • Navigate complex deal cycles with multiple stakeholders and technical depth

  • Collaborate with product and solutions teams to shape tailored solutions and ensure post-sale success

Thought Leadership & Industry Insight

  • Stay up to date on automation, AI, and enterprise tech trends impacting the Northeast region

  • Be a trusted advisor and strategic partner to your customers — not just a vendor

Revenue Ownership

  • Hit and exceed quarterly targets through disciplined pipeline management and deal execution

  • Own the full sales cycle from first touch to signed contract

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with a track record of closing enterprise deals

  • Deep knowledge of the Northeast enterprise landscape and regional buying patterns

  • Experience selling to operations, IT, engineering, or transformation teams across verticals (e.g. manufacturing, healthcare, finance, insurance)

  • Strong consultative selling skills — able to navigate ambiguity and uncover real pain points

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

  • Comfortable in a startup environment: fast-paced, lean, and constantly evolving

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling automation, SaaS, AI, or enterprise platforms

  • Familiarity with business process improvement, digital transformation, or RPA concepts

  • Background working with or selling into regulated industries

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field
