Job Description

We are actively seeking a talented individual to join our team as the Western Europe Poultry Manager, committed to making a difference by responding to the needs of the poultry production industry in a sustainable manner. To support our vision and our ambitious and enthusiastic strategy, your key responsibilities will include:

-Provide technical training and support to local sales and technical teams, as well as customers, to ensure effective application of Phileo's products and solutions.

-Correct application problems and provide technical service to distributors, customers, and other technical representatives, ensuring customer satisfaction through proper follow-up.

-Communicate technical information through sales call reports or technical service reports.

-Propose conviction trials that meet customer practice and anticipate competition, supporting the local team in the implementation and follow-up of these trials.

- Manage and develop a network of key opinion leaders so to identify potential innovations that could fit with market analysis led by Phileo Global Poultry leader

-Collaborate closely with Phileo's Global Poultry Leader, R&D department, and sub-region managers to develop new products, marketing plans, and prioritize R&D projects based on market analysis and customer needs.

-Participate in the construction of a competitive product range and innovation programs, proposing and adapting innovation programs and products

-Contribute to the prioritization of poultry R&D projects based on market and gap analysis.

-Coordinate projects related to generating new poultry data in the Western European region, ensuring timely and accurate completion of research, product application, and line extension projects.

-Follow up on market innovations and product positioning of competitors to identify emerging trends and market needs.

-Identify market needs, opportunities, and key success factors.

-Provide strategic direction related to customer segmentation by balancing customer needs and resource constraints and assessing potential value creation and optimization.

-Contribute to the implementation of the poultry strategy with commercial teams.

-Organize and animate poultry group meetings to align on market needs and strategy, and establish action plan prioritization.

Qualifications

- Agricultural engineer degree or veterinarian specialized or PhD in the Poultry domain with nutrition background or equivalent.

- Must possess a strong working knowledge of Poultry nutrition, production methods and/or diseases issues and be able to apply this knowledge to make the proper analyses, decisions and objective recommendations on the use of our products in the field, analyze feed and production issues, explain and demonstrate products, make objective recommendations to correct problems while maintaining awareness of customers’ needs, concerns and quality expectations.

- Excellent analytical skills are required to solve certain technical problems for major customers.

- Minimal practical experience of 10 years is required.

- The position requires the ability to influence through indirect leadership, be a strong and diplomatic communicant, adaptable, open minded and creative. Commercial and marketing mindset. Thorough understanding of probability & statistics and ability to use statistical programs such as the SAS GLM procedure is a plus.

English is essential; French or Spanish is a plus.
