Overview
We're hiring a Financial Operations Associate to join our remote-first team. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented finance professional with a strong background in invoicing, reconciliation, and operational accounting—particularly within the healthcare or medical sector.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams across the U.S. and South America, ensuring accurate, timely financial processing in a fast-moving environment. Precision, communication, and a strong grasp of financial tools are essential.
Responsibilities
Review and process a high volume of invoices with accuracy and consistency
Reconcile financial records and manage accounts payable/receivable documentation
Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies
Ensure compliance with internal policies and local financial regulations
Support month-end and year-end close processes and reporting tasks
Maintain accurate audit trails and documentation for all transactions
Utilize financial and ERP systems (e.g., Excel, QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite)
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial operations
Prior experience in the medical or healthcare industry (required)
Strong track record in invoice processing and financial administration
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficient in accounting tools and spreadsheets
Strong written and verbal communication in English (Spanish is a plus)
Preferred
Experience working remotely with international financial teams
Familiarity with healthcare billing, HIPAA, or insurance claims
Ability to prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
