JOB SUMMARY
Storyblok is scaling rapidly. As a Financial Operations Manager, you will assume end‑to‑end ownership of NetSuite OneWorld and the wider finance application stack. You will ensure that commission calculations, travel expenses, and multi‑currency transactions are recorded accurately, on time, and in full compliance with internal controls, providing audit‑ready data to the entire business. By championing automation and process optimization, you will elevate data quality and shorten the close. Partnering with Sales, Product, People, Data, and Revenue Operations, you will guide system changes, shape development roadmaps, and safeguard data integrity company‑wide. Your blend of technical depth and finance expertise will keep our infrastructure running smoothly, unlock faster, cleaner insights for every team, and enable you to step in hands‑on wherever your skills add the most significant value.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Administer our ERP Oracle NetSuite OneWorld: own roles & permissions, SuiteScript/workflows, release calendar, and sandbox‑to‑production migrations; manage the development backlog and coordinate external NetSuite consultants to deliver enhancements.
- Administer satellite finance tools, such as Spiff, Yokoy, Deel, and others, and their integrations/APIs, ensuring configurations align with finance policies and feeding accurate data into NetSuite.
- Execute and oversee high‑complexity booking streams: variable earnings/commissions and travel expenses; post journals, reconcile ledgers, and guarantee cut‑off accuracy.
- Support month‑end close and internal reporting: prepare and review journals; deliver report extracts and variance analyses.
- Access management and security: manage the access‑review process, create/modify/delete user accounts, and enforce SSO & 2‑factor authentication; provision and de‑provision access as part of onboarding/offboarding.
- Information‑security projects and audits: implement technical solutions that enhance our security posture, and prepare evidence for ISO 27001/SOC 2 or other audits.
- Data integrity, backups, and availability: Schedule and monitor system exports, snapshots, and core‑IT backups; maintain retention policies to guarantee data completeness and recoverability.
- User support, training, and documentation: troubleshoot finance‑system issues, maintain runbooks, and deliver regular training sessions to Accounting, Payroll, RevOps and other stakeholders on system usage and security best practices.
- Lead finance technology implementations by coordinating different teams, assessing the right too, and being the project manager.
- Be able to work closely with the data team to ensure the right data is synched across our finance tools.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Education and Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred. Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) and/or NetSuite credentials (SuiteFoundation, Administrator) are a plus, but not a deal‑breaker.
- Overall Experience: Minimum 5+ years in finance operations, accounting, or FP&A within a SaaS or technology‑driven environment.
- Finance Systems Expertise: At least 3 of those years administering NetSuite OneWorld (or comparable ERP) in a multi‑entity, multi‑currency setup; hands‑on with at least one satellite tool (Spiff, Yokoy, Deel, etc.).

- Metrics and Performance Analysis: Proven ability to define, calculate, and interpret recurring‑revenue and cost‑efficiency metrics such as ARR, MRR, NRR, CAC, churn, LTV and the Rule of 40, or comparable subscription/business‑model KPIs, and translate them into actionable insights and executive‑level dashboards in partnership with FP&A.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Google Sheets/Excel modelling (ARRAY, QUERY, Apps Script); proficient in SuiteScript/workflow configuration, CSV imports. Basic SQL for data validation would be a plus.
- Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to assess multiple options and to identify the best choice to serve a specified goal
- Excellent English communication and written skills; other languages a plus
