We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Automation Developer to join our growing team and lead the development of scalable, intelligent automation solutions that optimize operational efficiency across the organization.

Shift Structure

Night shift (9 PM to 6 AM Manila Time)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust, scalable Python scripts and tools to automate repetitive data processing tasks and operational workflows.
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and other tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Azure genflow).
  • Automate data ingestion, transformation, and validation from various sources (APIs, databases, files).
  • Integrate automation solutions with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and/or containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Build reusable frameworks for process automation, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure automation systems are secure, efficient, and aligned with data governance policies.
  • Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and improve reliability of existing automation and data workflows.
  • Document automation processes and provide knowledge transfer to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in automation development or a similar technical role
  • Strong proficiency in Python, especially for scripting and automation.
  • Experience with data engineering tools and techniques (e.g., Pandas, PySpark, SQL, data lakes).
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT workflows and data pipeline orchestration (e.g., Apache Airflow, Prefect, Luigi).
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue), Azure, or GCP.
  • Proficient with SQL and working with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Understanding of APIs (REST, SOAP), data serialization formats (JSON, Parquet, Avro).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, version control (Git), and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and best practices for operational reliability.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.
