Job Description

Arbital Health is a rapidly growing healthcare technology and actuarial leader that centralizes, measures, and adjudicates value-based care contracts at scale. We believe that the biggest problem facing value-based care is the inability for parties to accurately measure and forecast contract performance.  We are building a generational company that is positioned to solve this.  Through our unique depth of technology and actuarial insight, Arbital Health enables payers and providers to design, measure, and execute value-based agreements with greater transparency, efficiency, and financial predictability.

We were co-founded by Brian Overstreet and Travis May (founder & former CEO of LiveRamp and Datavant, the two biggest data companies of the last 20 years), and are backed by Transformation Capital and other leading investors.  In our first 18 months, Arbital Health has established itself as a trusted partner for over 40 payers, providers, and other stakeholders looking to navigate the complexities of risk-based contracting.

We hire individuals who are smart, nice, and get things done. We invest in hiring high potential and humble individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and can rapidly grow their responsibilities as we continue to accelerate our growth.

Role Overview:We’re seeking a dynamic Head of Business Operations to strategically execute Arbital’s ambitious vision. You will streamline execution, optimize organizational processes, and drive alignment across our fast-growing teams, directly translating leadership's strategy into measurable outcomes. This role will oversee People Operations, Talent, Finance, Legal, as well as supporting the creation of new departments and overall organizational design.

  • Implement KPIs and reporting systems to track and optimize organizational performance.
  • Lead financial planning, budget management, forecasting, and strategic resource allocation.
  • Manage and negotiate vendor relationships, oversee internal contracts, and facilitate operational readiness for future funding rounds in partnership with the existing Operations team.
  • Oversee and partner with the Recruiting and People teams to ensure effective talent acquisition, employee engagement, and performance management. Collaborate with People team on Office and Remote strategy.
  • Support establishment of new departments and teams (e.g., customer success, product success, trust and safety), advising on org design and talent.
  • Collaborate with the technology team to ensure robust data privacy, security, and compliance processes are maintained across the organization.
  • Provide operational support for potential M&A activities and strategic initiatives.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Operational Leadership: Proven experience in business operations, finance, legal, or strategy within high-growth startups, ideally in a high-growth SaaS or services company.

  • Startup and Growth-stage Navigation. Skilled at balancing strategic vision with tactical execution; calm under pressure and effective at navigating ambiguity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work closely with product, actuarial, and technology teams to align commercial strategy with product development and customer needs.
