Head of Fish Frying
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Fish Frying to lead and manage the fish frying operations at our multi-million dollar startup. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality fried fish products, ensuring that all food safety and hygiene standards are met, and managing a team of fish frying professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the production of fried fish products, including the selection of ingredients, preparation of the frying batter, and cooking techniques.
Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to in all stages of the production process.
Manage and develop a team of fish frying professionals, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Implement and maintain efficient production processes to meet demand and maximize profitability.
Work closely with the Head Chef to develop new and innovative fried fish products and menu items.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies for the fried fish products.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
At least 5 years of experience in the food industry, with a focus on fish frying.
Proven experience in managing a team of professionals and overseeing food production processes.
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Creativity and a passion for developing new and innovative dishes.
