What’s the mission you’ll drive
Shape and elevate Addi’s external narrative by designing and executing a world-class communications strategy that builds our corporate reputation, establishes us as the lead financial platform for payments, shopping, and banking, and drives measurable brand awareness and trust among Colombians
What you will do
Develop and implement a comprehensive PR and communications playbook, including ready-to-use press kits, Q&A documents, and reactive statements to ensure brand consistency and agility.
Implement a measurement framework to track Share of Voice (SOV), sentiment analysis, and key message pull-through, delivering a quarterly report to leadership that demonstrates PR's direct contribution to building brand trust and awareness.
Build and maintain an active media network by developing strong editorial relationships with top-tier journalists and editors across national and financial media
Ensure Addi is regularly featured in the news cycle through expert commentary, contributed content, and executive visibility, with a goal of securing earned media placements and being recognized as a top quoted fintech in the Colombian market.
Flawlessly execute the communications strategy for Addi's next major funding round, product launch, or corporate milestone, achieving key message pull-through in all target media coverage and positioning the announcement as a category-defining moment.
Partner with the People team to launch an employer brand communications strategy that elevates Addi's employer brand, becoming a Known Top-Tier Employer
Develop and socialize a crisis communications framework, enabling Addi to respond to potential issues with speed, confidence, and transparency.
What we’re looking for
Proven track record of successfully leading the end-to-end communications strategy
8+ years in corporate communications, with a significant portion (4+ years) in high-growth fintech, technology, or financial services in Latin America.
Deep experience and a current, active presence in the Colombian media market is essential.
Experience successfully building a communications function from the ground up and leading the end-to-end communications strategy for major corporate milestones like funding rounds, M&A, or flagship product launches.
Demonstrated, hands-on success in building and protecting a company’s reputation, including navigating complex crisis situations.
Exceptional Corporate Storytelling skills
Outstanding ability to architect a clear, compelling, and consistent corporate narrative that simplifies complex fintech concepts for diverse audiences (investors, consumers, regulators, and employees).
You can translate the intricacies of a new lending product or funding round into a powerful story of financial inclusion that is easily understood and repeated by media, ensuring Addi's core message is never lost in translation.
Great ability to act a Strategic Counsel & Executive Partnership
Solid capacity to act as a trusted advisor to the C-suite, providing confident, strategic counsel on all external-facing communications and preparing leadership for high-stakes media interactions.
You serve as a trusted advisor to Addi’s CEO and leadership team, providing strategic counsel on all communications-related opportunities and risks.
When a sensitive industry issue arises, you are the first person the CEO calls for advice. You provide a clear point of view on reputational risks and opportunities, ensuring leadership is prepared, aligned, and on-message
Proactive Media Relations & Network Cultivation
Goes far beyond reactive press releases. Leverages a deep, trusted network of journalists and influencers to proactively shape the conversation and land high-impact, narrative-driving stories.
Lead strategic communications and develop powerful narratives around major corporate milestones, including funding rounds, product launches, and new market entries.
Have a solid Strategic Execution with a Bias for Action
A strategic, yet hands-on approach with a bias for action. You can architect a long-term communications plan while simultaneously owning the day-to-day execution needed to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
