Folks VFX Toronto is looking for an HR Manager to join our growing team. The HR Manager is a new role performing a range of HR duties. The person will work closely with Head of Studio of Toronto in administering the activities and project related to the Human Resources department.
This is a full-time permanent position with many opportunities for growth.
Responsabilities:
· Oversee the day-to-day / operational HR activities;
· Responsible of the full recruitment cycle (sourcing, scheduling, interviewing and follow-up with candidates);
· Manage employee relation issues and advise management on how to effectively drive and solve HR interpersonal challenges;
· Act as a resource for employees, supervisors and managers to answer all questions and concerns relating to administrative files, policies, procedures, processes and programs;
· Manage and guide supervisors with the annual review process;
· Perform other duties depending on the projects;
· Support the Head of Studio in the development, growth and needs of artists;
What we are looking for:
· Someone who loves HR, people and holds the well-being of the team to heart;
· Someone with at least 3 years of solid experience in a Human Resources related role;
· Prior experience in the VFX/Gaming/Creative industry is considered a valuable asset;
· Someone with a positive, dynamic energy, who is a team-player, is organized and detail-oriented;
· Someone with high analytical skills and who can make fair decisions under pressure;
· Someone who has the ability to coach and consult with all levels in the organisation;
· Someone with a high standard of ethical behavior;
· Someone who is not afraid of a challenge!
