Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Program Manager to lead and manage our client's technology-focused programs. The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and evaluation of all projects within the department. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure programs align with our mission, deliver value to stakeholders, and achieve measurable impact.

The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of experience in program management, a strong analytical background, and the leadership skills to inspire and direct a team toward achieving program objectives. The Program Manager will also play a crucial role in managing partnerships and reporting program outcomes to the executive team and funders.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive program strategy aligned with the organization’s mission and strategic goals.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the program team, ensuring clarity of objectives, timelines, and responsibilities.
  • Conduct regular reviews of program progress, using data-driven insights to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including funders, partners, and community organizations.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, partner meetings, and conferences.
  • Communicate program successes and challenges to the executive team, board members, and funders as required.
  • Oversee all aspects of program execution, including budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks to track program performance and outcomes.
  • Manage the program’s financials, including grant reporting, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
  • Lead and mentor a team of program staff, providing coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that values diverse perspectives.
  • Set performance expectations, conduct regular evaluations, and manage staff productivity.
  • Utilize analytical tools to measure program effectiveness and generate insights for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and present program reports, including KPIs and other data-driven insights, to inform decision-making.
  • Ensure all reports comply with internal standards and funder requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, preferably in a nonprofit or technology-related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Administration, Business, Technology, Social Sciences).
  • A Master’s degree or certifications in program management, data analytics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing multi-faceted programs with measurable outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; demonstrated ability to interpret data to drive program improvements.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, Google Analytics, Power BI).
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor a diverse team, with experience building a high-performance team culture.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to see the “big picture” while managing details effectively.
