ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Loan Fulfillment Manager (New Accounts) who blends strong operational discipline with a performance-driven mindset. In this role, you'll lead a team internal and external team focused on turning qualified applications into funded loans. You’ll own the conversion funnel from underwriting decision to funding, and work closely with Sales, Risk, and Member Experience to accelerate throughput, improve quality, and deliver results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the Underwriting-to-Funding Process: Manage internal and external daily operations to ensure applications are reviewed promptly and accurately, moving qualified applicants efficiently toward funding.
  • Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: Train, coach, and motivate analysts and support staff to achieve speed, quality, and conversion KPIs.
  • Streamline Operations: Identify bottlenecks, eliminate redundancies, and implement scalable processes to improve throughput and reduce turnaround time.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Product, Credit Risk, Compliance, and Member Experience to enhance tools, adjust strategies, and maintain a compliant and customer-friendly decision process.
  • Report on Performance: Monitor daily volume, SLA adherence, approval rates, and funding rates. Use insights to recommend changes that move the needle.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain strong controls aligned with all applicable regulations and internal credit policies.
  • Relationships: Build strong relationships with internal teams and vendor partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration for high-quality service and support.

 

ABOUT YOU

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in consumer lending underwriting/ vendor management leadership roles.
  • Proven ability to apply a sales-oriented mindset to operational processes, driving increased conversion and throughput
  • The ability to balance risk and growth—making data-informed decisions that fuel volume without compromising quality
  • You know how to lead change and build trust with a remote team.
  • Demonstrated track record in driving loan conversion, application throughput, and underwriting efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of sales operations, lead conversion, and how to work with front-end teams to accelerate outcomes.
  • Operational mindset with the ability to build scalable processes and drive daily execution.
  • Data-oriented: you’re comfortable with dashboards, performance metrics, and using insights to improve processes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills—clear, direct, and team-focused.
  • Working knowledge of credit risk frameworks, regulatory compliance (ECOA, FCRA), and fraud prevention techniques.
  • Experience as an underwriter, with increasing levels of responsibility.

Base Salary Range
$125,000$140,000 USD
