About UR
UR is a borderless smart money app that makes it easy to spend and off-ramp, all in one place. Built for both crypto natives and the crypto curious, UR simplifies the way people and businesses move between digital assets and fiat currencies. Self-custodial, fast, and intuitive, UR turns complex crypto workflows into a seamless everyday experience.
What You'll Do
We are looking for a Card & Payment Product Manager to join our product team. This person will play a mission-critical role in owning and scaling the foundational components of UR — cards, fiat rails, and multi-currency infrastructure.
You will work closely with:
The Core Banking Product Owner
Cross-domain product, design and engineering team (wallets, smart contracts, growth, compliance)
Risk & compliance teams to ensure robust internal controls
This is a highly cross-functional role requiring sharp systems thinking, ownership, and comfort in ambiguity. You’ll help shape UR's product strategy alongside the UR core team.
What You’ll Own
Card Program Expansion: Work on launching credit/deferred debit cards, support for Apple/Google Pay, and new card features for retail and business users.
Banking Rails: Drive integrations and upgrades to support more local and international payment methods (e.g. SWIFT, SEPA etc.).
Multi-Currency Infrastructure: Define and scale our currency support model for both deposits and card spend, improving UX and backend logic.
Risk & Compliance Partnership: Embed risk rules and controls (e.g. velocity limits, region-level restrictions) within core flows.
User-Centered Product Development: Work with designers (product/UX) to create simple, powerful user experiences for both crypto-native and mainstream audiences.
Strategic Collaboration: Partner with the Head of Product on banking product strategy and coordinate with web3 product counterparts to build cohesive cross-domain experiences.
Who You Are
Have 5+ years in product management, ideally in fintechs (e.g. Revolut, Reap, Nium, Airwallex, Aspire) or crypto-native neobanks
Have shipped 0→1 banking or card products and thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Possesses strong systems thinking and can distil complex infra topics into clear product requirements
Have worked closely with Chinese-speaking engineering teams and are comfortable bridging language and execution gaps
Are familiar with core banking systems, issuer/processor models, and regulatory constraints (bonus if you’ve worked with a licensed entity)
Can operate fluently in Chinese (spoken) and English (spoken and written)
Are a clear communicator, a structured thinker, and have high product quality standards
Bonus: Experience or strong interest in crypto, DeFi, or bridging fiat ↔ crypto systems
