The Role:

We are looking for dynamic, empathetic, and action-oriented individuals to join our exciting Clinical Operations team. 

As a Mental Health Clinical Support Specialist (CSS), your primary responsibility will be to support Hazel Health providers before, during, and after telehealth visits through patient assistance, scheduling assistance, technology support, and follow-up communication. This role is critical in optimizing provider schedules to maximize efficiency, minimize patient wait times, and enhance the overall patient experience. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, tech-savvy, and passionate about supporting mental health care delivery.

Location: Remote (Central Time-Zone Preferred)

What You’ll Do:

  • Provider Scheduling: Maintain accurate provider schedules in our scheduling system, ensuring optimal utilization of provider availability.
  • Patient Experience: Coordinate appointment availability and support families in portal creation/navigation to ensure timely access to care for clients.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between providers, patients, school staff and administrative teams to resolve conflicts and improve workflows.
  • System Management: Use scheduling software to monitor and adjust calendars, confirm appointments, and update changes in real time.
  • New Hire Provider Support: Set up provider accounts and workflows ahead of their start dates, enabling them to hit the ground running and provide quality care sooner
  • Reporting: Track key metrics such as provider capacity, cancellations, and wait times; provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with operations leadership to identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and satisfaction for both clients and providers.

Minimum Requirements:

Required: Fluency or ability to communicate in Spanish. 

  • Prior experience in a clinical environment (1-2 years) preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set appropriate priorities
  • Ability to work autonomously with efficiency and attention to detail
  • Experience maintaining confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent telephone and customer service skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Total compensation for this role is market competitive, with a base salary range of $24.50 - $29.00 per hour, option for a 10-month schedule, a 401k match, healthcare coverage, paid time off, stock options, and a broad range of other benefits and perks.
