Know the Accounting & Finance Team
The Finance team works on a dynamic ecosystem with all sorts of technologies, frameworks, and durations. We interact daily with people located in several cities around the world. The finance team at ArcTouch is the backbone of our success, allowing our teams to deliver award-winning work for clients. We are an extremely collaborative group and expect everyone to be a team player and be able to multitask. We look for people who are self-driven and passionate about growing their skills and knowledge in the financial field. We have weekly meetings to discuss specific solutions, and it's part of our company DNA to help each other at every opportunity.
Role Expectations
- Daily English Communication (100% of the time): Engage daily in English with global teams (Europe, Asia, Americas), participating in meetings and communicating fluently with senior leadership. Demonstrate clarity and resourcefulness in presenting reports, insights, and action plans. Spanish language skills are a plus."
- Conduct in-depth analysis of monthly account reconciliations for BS & P&L, identifying discrepancies and inefficiencies in the reconciliation process and providing the correction journal to ensure the accuracy of the ending balances.
- Provide support to the annual financial planning process, the Inter-Group monthly invoicing, and ad-hoc tax reports, maintaining compliance with tax regulations and following group policies.
- Work closely with local finance teams in North America, Latin America, and other Regions to ensure alignment and consistency in financial information and processes.
- Apply your proven advanced/fluent verbal and written English communication skills for daily interaction with global teams and senior leadership.
- Utilize your solid accounting background (Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and active CPC registration) and expertise in US-GAAP, DRE, Accounting Audit, SOX (Anti-Corruption Law), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and CVM/SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission).
- Leverage your 4+ years of experience working in a business financial analysis role, preferably in software and technology companies.
- Demonstrate advanced Excel and Google Sheets proficiency for data manipulation and analysis.
- Benefit from your experience with ERP systems like Oracle, SAP, Salesforce (SFDC), as well as in Compliance, IFRS, Audit, and Shared Services Centers (SSC), which will be a plus.
On a typical day with us, you will
- Assist with the US month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare the US journal entries to be processed by the SCS in the US.
- Review the P&L to ensure that Revenue and Expenses are properly booked. Work with Finance to understand any Forecast problems.
- Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts.
- Think of ways of improving our tools and processes.
- Maintain Actuals information from SAP-BFC to keep updated on all support.
- Stretch your legs in our Laboral Gymnastics time, stop for a while and meditate with our Guided meditation group, or play a video game with someone else from the team.

REMOTE WORK: This position is remote-friendly. If you miss being in the office, we have a great one in Florianópolis, and you can also choose to work from there after the pandemic. Just a reminder: remote employees also need to live in Brazil (we hire international professionals only for some specific openings)
