About Omnidian

Omnidian, Inc. is a fast-growing Series C tech-enabled service company revolutionizing performance assurance for the distributed solar and energy storage industries.  Omnidian is building a more sustainable future for the planet through our passionate teams, our innovative technology, and by creating an amazing customer experience.

We are headquartered in the US and began our Australia team in 2022, with exciting growth since then. In 2025, Omnidian acquired Solar Service Guys, Australia’s largest dedicated solar service network, delivering industry-leading support across the full lifecycle of solar PV systems for over 17 years. Headquartered in Brisbane, SSG is known for its nationwide reach and expertise in design, monitoring, maintenance, and repair of solar systems for residential and commercial clients.

Omnidian’s AI-powered performance assurance platform supports over 380,000 asset years of data and now extends its reach into the Australian market—further enhancing service capabilities through this strategic partnership. Together, we’re delivering cutting-edge support and unmatched customer experience to solar investors across the globe.

The Job

We’re looking for a People Operations Manager to serve as the key People partner to our Australia-based team while collaborating closely with our global People & Culture function. You’ll support leaders and team members through periods of growth and change, help shape and implement our local People systems, and build a strong, people-first foundation that reflects both Australian requirements and Omnidian’s values. This is a hands-on and strategic role, ideal for someone who can move fluidly between advising, designing, and doing.

Work-life and Culture

  • Work-Life Flexibility: Opportunities to work remotely, with 20 days of paid time off annually (accrued) and 10 days of sick leave annually (accrued).
  • Comprehensive Compensation: Competitive salary, performance bonuses, and equity stakes.
  • Culture of Growth: A collaborative environment with mentorship and opportunities for career advancement.
  • Inclusive Community: Global affinity groups, supportive policies, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Passionate team: We are mission-driven and believe in collaboration, mutual respect and trust.

  • Strategic People Partnership (40%)
  • Serve as a consultative partner to AU leadership and global People team
  • Translate business needs into thoughtful people strategies and org design
  • Coach managers on team dynamics, growth, and performance conversations
  • Build trust and communication across AU and global teams
  • Identify and resolve people-related friction before it escalates
  • People Systems & Compliance (30%)
  • Build and manage foundational people processes (onboarding, leave, compliance)
  • Own local employment policies and ensure compliance with AU employment law
  • Implement scalable HR systems aligned with global frameworks
  • Support or lead AU-specific systems work
  • Improve clarity and consistency in workflows and documentation
  • Employee Experience & Relations (30%)
  • Manage employee relations issues with rigor and empathy
  • Serve as a confidential resource for employees navigating workplace issues
  • Collaborate with legal or external consultants as needed

  • Represent AU perspectives in global initiatives and decisions

Who You Are

  • A relationship-builder who brings both emotional intelligence and business savvy
  • Able to navigate ambiguity with confidence and move things forward with clarity
  • Consultative and coach-like, never defaulting to “just HR rules”
  • Comfortable holding space for sensitive topics and building trust
  • A systems thinker who builds for scale, not just for today
  • Grounded, approachable, and invested in people and outcomes

Experience You’ll Need

  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in People, HR, or People Ops
  • Experience as a People Operations Manager
  • 3+ yrs as a Senior HR professional

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels

Experience That's a Plus

  • Experience working across global teams or in a matrixed org
  • Exposure to HRIS systems and digital tools (e.g., Lever, Lattice, Rippling)
  • Experience in clean energy, technology, or mission-driven organizations
  • Familiarity with modern performance, engagement, or L&D practices
  • Background in coaching, facilitation, or change management

Grow With Us

If you are resilient, determined, and not afraid of a big challenge, come apply.
