Job Description

About this role

Are you a junior copywriter or content marketeer with an interest in promotions and a passion for online retail? Are you looking to join a fast-growing team of energetic, ambitious ecommerce professionals working on the most exciting new marketplace - dedicated to home, garden and leisure - to have launched in the UK in the last year?

As the Promotions Marketing Executive, reporting to the Marketing and Brand Manager and with a dotted line into the Senior E-commerce Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in managing and accelerating a key revenue channel through the creation and delivery of reader offers in print and online.

You will manage the full lifecycle of reader offers, from creation to delivery, across multiple platforms. Develop engaging ad copies based on audience insights and trend analysis. Create clear briefs for design teams to ensure all offers are visually appealing, accurate, and strategically placed across print and digital channels.

You will ensure optimal placement of ads in national and regional press, track campaign performance and utilise post-campaign insights to drive improvements and inform the creation of future offers.

Collaboration with internal teams is key; you will work closely with the marketing, trading, ad operations, and editorial teams to ensure offers align with brand guidelines, business objectives, and timelines.

Qualifications

What you’ll need to succeed:

We're looking for someone with experience in content delivery, ad operations, or creative project management. Strong writing skills, excellent grammar, and attention to detail are essential. You'll need to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively. A commercial mindset and a good understanding of the retail or media environment are important. Being comfortable with data and optimizing campaigns is a big plus.

With a strategically creative mindset, you’ll work closely with both the marketing and trading teams to deliver high-impact offers designed to reach in-market customers and drive sales within each of our product categories. You’ll thrive in this role if you’re a creative self-starter with strong copywriting and project management skills and a genuine interest in marketplaces, ecommerce, and what makes consumers tick.

Experience with AI tools or writing effective prompts for content generation is advantageous. You'll also use tools to extract text from websites and create images.

If this aligns with your skills, we'd like to hear from you!
