Role Overview
As a Recruiter, you’ll play a key role in scaling LILT’s non-technical teams across GTM (Go-to-Market) and G&A (General & Administrative) functions—including Customer Experience, Production, People Ops, Legal, and Finance. This is a high-impact, high-trust role reporting to the Chief People Officer, where you’ll partner closely with business leaders to find exceptional talent that elevates our mission and culture. This role is based in San Francisco, with a hybrid schedule (Mon–Wed in-office).
What You’ll Do
Lead full-cycle recruiting for G&A and GTM roles, from sourcing through offer acceptance
Build strong, consultative partnerships with hiring managers across departments
Develop creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage top talent
Manage a fast-paced req load, delivering against tight timelines without sacrificing candidate experience
Contribute to improving recruiting processes, tools, and reporting—especially as we scale
Represent LILT with warmth, clarity, and mission-alignment in all candidate interactions
About You
You’re a resourceful, high-capacity recruiter who thrives in fast-moving environments
You bring previous experience recruiting for G&A and/or GTM roles at a scaling tech company
You balance speed and quality, always aiming to exceed expectations
You’re a strong communicator—able to align with stakeholders and guide candidates through a seamless process
You care about mission alignment and candidate experience, and treat every touchpoint as an opportunity to reflect LILT’s values
You’re excited to be in the office with the team part of the week and contribute to a strong in-person culture

Experience using Ashby ATS
Background recruiting for AI, SaaS, or localization-related businesses
Understanding of early-stage hiring processes and systems
Our Story
Our founders, Spence and John met at Google working on Google Translate. As researchers at Stanford and Berkeley, they both worked on language technology to make information accessible to everyone. While together at Google, they were amazed to learn that Google Translate wasn’t used for enterprise products and services inside the company.The quality just wasn’t there. So they set out to build something better. LILT was born.
LILT has been a machine learning company since its founding in 2015. At the time, machine translation didn’t meet the quality standard for enterprise translations, so LILT assembled a cutting-edge research team tasked with closing that gap. While meeting customer demand for translation services, LILT has prioritized investments in Large Language Models, human-in-the-loop systems, and now agentic AI.
With AI innovation accelerating and enterprise demand growing, the next phase of LILT’s journey is just beginning.
