The role
As a Salesforce Architect, you will serve as a hands-on leader across the full project lifecycle, owning everything from gathering requirements and architecting scalable solutions to building, rolling out, and training end users. You will work in close partnership with the Director of Salesforce Platform and the Salesforce Administration team, playing a critical part in aligning Salesforce capabilities with broader business objectives.
The ideal candidate is both a strategist and implementer - someone who can lead architectural conversations while also diving into the technical execution. This high-impact role requires strong initiative, cross-functional collaboration, and a passion for delivering smart, efficient solutions that drive the business forward.
Where you'll work
To be considered for this position, you must be located in the United States. You can choose between remote work and working from one of our offices in Austin, Dallas, or Cleveland. Occasional travel to one of these offices may be required for in-person collaboration, team events, or strategic planning sessions.
What you'll be doing
Act as the technical subject matter expert in discussions with stakeholders, keeping best practices and company objectives in mind.
Create and maintain documentation on architectural principles being implemented.
Provide leadership in all phases of a project, including but not limited to requirements gathering, solution design, system build, solution deployment, and user training.
Build and manage multiple project plans and schedules.
Mentor Salesforce Administrators, guiding them in problem-solving and technical excellence.
Troubleshoot, resolve, and track Salesforce end-user issues.
Create and manage objects, fields, flows, Apex Classes, Triggers, Lightning Components, and documentation to support ongoing initiatives.
What you'll need
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
8 - 10 years of Salesforce technical experience across multiple Clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, etc.).
3 - 5 years of experience in a technical lead position.
Data Architect and Platform App Builder certifications preferred, with additional certifications highly desirable (e.g., MuleSoft, Platform Developer I, Advanced Admin, CompTIA).
Experience with MuleSoft and Anypoint Studio is highly desired.
Experience with Salesforce Voice is highly desired.
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving scenario.
Strong technical scope requirements gathering skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written formats, adapting to the audience (technical or business).
High level of interpersonal and customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
