Why This Role is Exciting:
AuditBoard is looking for a full-time SDET II. The ideal candidate will be capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities. This role will help architect, design, and build automation, and integration tests to support engineering quality and testing initiatives. Their responsibilities include creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and scripts based on API- and client-driven design specifications outlined in stories. Success will be measured by driving the adoption of standards and best practices for software test development, with a material impact on product scalability, end-user reliability, defect detection, and velocity of successful delivery of innovation.
Attributes for a Successful Candidate:
Bachelor's Degree in engineering (CS or EE) or equivalent experience
2-5 years of proven work experience in Software Development in Test
2+ years of experience using Playwright or Cypress required
2+ years of experience coding with JavaScript and/or TypeScript (preferred)
2+ years of experience in test automation in SaaS and/or B2B-facing internet-based applications
2+ years of experience with building test automation on technologies like NodeJS, NPM, etc
Experience building infra-as-code automation technologies like Terraform, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, etc
Demonstrable experience in researching new technologies that might help improve the application, infrastructure, and/or team productivity
Demonstrable experience with debugging complex issues across multiple services or layers within an application stack
Strong technical skills and track record of architectural decisions
Experience with testing web applications on AWS, Azure, or other Cloud services
Experience with Agile-Scrum and other Agile methodologies
Good analytical skills to work with developers for troubleshooting and peer review
