Position Overview

Rectangle Health is looking for a creative, strategic, and execution-focused Senior Manager, Content & Social Media to lead our content and social strategies, aligning them with business objectives and driving awareness, engagement, and lead generation across channels. 

You’ll shape and execute plans for blog content, guides, reports, videos, podcasts, thought leadership, social media, and integrated campaigns. You’ll be hands-on in writing posts, coordinating design needs, managing approvals, and publishing across platforms. You’ll also monitor performance against KPIs and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Own and execute our content and social media strategies to support brand, demand gen, and sales enablement goals 
  • Write and publish compelling content across formats: blog posts, social media, website updates, enablement tools, executive POVs, and more
  • Collaborate with designers, SMEs, and stakeholders to bring content to life, tasking design updates, gathering input, and managing approvals
  • Direct and manage external writers, freelancers, and agencies to scale content production and ensure quality, consistency, and brand alignment
  • Create, maintain, and evolve our copy and content style guide to ensure consistency in tone, voice, and messaging across all channels
  • Create and manage the content calendar and social publishing schedule across platforms
  • Write and/or direct podcast and video content, from campaign-level brand videos to short-form social clips; ideally, you can also edit and produce videos in-house
  • Apply SEO best practices to all content efforts, with working knowledge of tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar platforms 
  • Build a working understanding of local GEO factors that influence how audiences discover and engage with our content online 
  • Use tools like Sprout Social, HubSpot, and WordPress to schedule, track, and report content and campaign performance
  • Monitor content and social KPIs, analyze results, and optimize strategies based on performance
  • Stay up to date on B2B content and social trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities
  • Ensure all content aligns with our brand voice and messaging 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5–7+ years of experience in content marketing and social media 
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a clear, concise, B2B-friendly voice
  • Experience using CMS platforms (WordPress preferred) and social media tools (Sprout, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Familiarity with key content and social KPIs: traffic, engagement, CTR, reach, conversions, etc.
  • Comfortable using project management tools (Asana, Trello, Monday.com, ClickUp, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, design, and leadership teams
  • B2B experience required; healthcare, SaaS, or fintech strongly preferred

New York pay range

$110,000 - $130,000 USD plus bonus
