Loopio is seeking an experienced Senior People Partner (Senior HR Business Partner) to join our growing and collaborative People team.

Over the past five years, Loopio has grown from 70 to over 300 employees—and our People team has scaled right alongside the business. As a key partner across all areas of the employee lifecycle, the People team plays a crucial role in supporting our people and leaders through growth and change.

In this role, you’ll report to Loopio’s People Leader and serve as a strategic advisor to GTM leaders across the organization—from emerging people managers to the C-suite. You'll bring fresh ideas and challenge the status quo to help us continuously evolve How We Work and Thrive as Loopers.

As a Senior People Partner, you'll work closely with leaders across your client groups to support engagement, development, and retention. You’ll collaborate with teammates in People Ops and Talent Experience to deliver a consistent, inclusive, and high-impact employee experience. You’ll also contribute to company-wide People initiatives aimed at building and sustaining a world-class remote workplace where our employees thrive.

What You’ll Be Doing

Drive Operational Growth within the GTM Team as a Senior People Partner

As a senior member of the People Operations team, you will play a critical role in enabling the success of Loopio’s GTM organization through strategic partnership, coaching, and operational excellence. Your focus will be on empowering GTM leaders and teams to scale effectively and perform at their best by:

  • Strategic Partnership Across the Employee Lifecycle: Act as a trusted advisor to GTM managers (from first time managers to seasoned leaders), providing proactive guidance through key employee milestones—including onboarding, performance management, compensation planning, employee relations, leave management, promotions, and offboarding—to ensure alignment with business goals and employee engagement.

  • Accelerating Talent Acquisition and Development: Collaborate with the Talent Experience team to attract top talent for GTM roles. Support internal mobility and succession planning while equipping GTM leaders with the tools and coaching needed to have impactful performance and development conversations.

  • Enhancing People Operations to Drive GTM Outcomes: Partner with the People Operations team to continuously improve programs and processes that support GTM effectiveness—such as performance enablement, compensation strategy, engagement surveys, and total rewards—ensuring these are tailored to the needs of a fast-paced, revenue-driving team.

  • Ensuring Global Compliance and Scalable Policies: Interpret and apply employment legislation across multiple jurisdictions (Ontario, BC, UK, India), while developing policies that support both compliance and scalable growth within GTM functions.

  • Navigating Complex Employee Relations: Lead and support complex employee relations matters within the GTM team, including investigations, to foster a respectful, high-performing work environment.

  • Supporting GTM Organizational Design: Guide GTM leadership through organizational development, team structuring, and change management initiatives that align with strategic growth plans and revenue goals.

  • Championing DEIB Within GTM: Embed Loopio’s DEIB principles into all People initiatives by partnering with GTM leaders to build inclusive teams, contributing to our DEIB Strategy.

  • Elevating Team Engagement and Performance: Work hand-in-hand with GTM leadership to assess team health, identify performance gaps, and implement initiatives that boost productivity, engagement, and revenue impact.

  • Understanding and Aligning to GTM Strategy: Deeply immerse yourself in Loopio’s business by attending department kickoffs to better understand our product, and staying closely aligned with GTM strategies, revenue targets, and market positioning.

  • Mentoring the People Team: Share your HR expertise and provide mentorship to fellow People team members, helping to build a high-performing, strategic People function.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • You’ve worked closely with GTM teams before and understand the rhythms of SaaS sales. Partnering with revenue leaders to drive performance, engagement, and growth feels second nature.

  • You’re a natural collaborator who understands that meaningful success is achieved through strong teamwork—especially when supporting a diverse group of 150+ employees.

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically while also executing effectively on day-to-day tactical and operational initiatives.

  • You’re passionate about coaching and mentoring individuals at all levels, with a particular strength in supporting first-time people managers.

  • Skilled at building trust and maintaining strong, productive relationships across all levels of an organization, from individual contributors to senior leadership.

  • Bring 5+ years of experience in People Operations/Human Resources, ideally as a People Partner or HR Business Partner in complex, high-growth environments.

  • A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus, though not required; HR certifications such as CHRP are considered assets.

  • Strong understanding of HR compliance and best practices, including employment law, standards, and workplace health and safety. We operate in Canada, USA, UK and India.

  • Quick to adopt and navigate HR tech tools—experience with platforms such as BambooHR (HRIS), Lattice, Pave, Ashby and G-Suite is a plus.

Where You’ll Work 📍

  • We are currently only looking for candidates who reside in the Greater Toronto Area and can access our co-working space in Downtown Toronto.

  • Loopio is a remote-first workplace because we recognize the advantages of working flexibly. We are HQ’d in Canada, with established hub regions around the world where we hire from.

  • Our employees (or Loopers, as we call ourselves!) live and work in 🇨🇦 Canada (British Columbia and Ontario), 🇬🇧 London, and 🇮🇳 India (specifically in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Bengaluru).

  • The majority of our team is based in ON and BC, which means these employees live and work remotely within a 300km radius of Toronto (within Ontario) and Vancouver (Within BC). 

  • We offer flexible co-working locations available to Loopers in ON and BC. Those based in ON have the option of working out of our convenient co-working space located in the heart of Downtown Toronto and a 12-minute walk from Union Station. BC Loopers have the option to work centrally in Vancouver. It is whatever works best for you!

  • You’ll collaborate with your teams virtually across the UK, India, and North America (we’re just a Zoom call and Slack message away!) with core sync hours and focus time for headsdown work 🙇🏾 during the workday
