ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Project Manager to lead high-value, technically complex projects within the energy sector. In this role, you will drive critical projects from conception to completion, ensuring operational excellence and exceptional customer outcomes. Your leadership will influence both strategic decision-making and the continuous improvement of our project management practices.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Execution:
Direct end-to-end project management for large-scale initiatives within transmission and utility sectors.
Develop comprehensive project plans, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables meet both customer expectations and industry standards.
Oversee project P&L, ensuring financial accountability and successful operational outcomes.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
Serve as the primary liaison between customer project leads and internal stakeholders, ensuring transparent, proactive communication.
Facilitate high-level discussions to map customer requirements against industry best practices and our innovative product solutions.
Technical & Strategic Expertise:
Act as a subject matter expert by analyzing customer challenges and aligning solutions that are scalable and efficient.
Integrate agile methodologies and proven project management standards to drive continuous process improvement and innovation.
Risk Management & Problem Resolution:
Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
Utilize a data-driven approach to investigate issues, determine root causes, and recommend sustainable solutions.
Team Mentorship & Process Improvement:
Mentor and guide cross-functional teams, promoting a collaborative environment that values both individual contributions and collective success.
Champion initiatives to refine and optimize project management processes across the organization.
ABOUT YOU:
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5+ years of project management experience, with a strong background in the utility or energy sector—experience with large transmission companies, RTOs, ISOs, and utilities is a significant plus.
Demonstrated success in managing major, complex projects with measurable results.
Proven expertise in agile methodologies and a solid understanding of industry best practices.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
