Job Summary:
This role is responsible for driving growth and new logo acquisition within large, named MSP accounts by building strong executive relationships and executing strategic account plans. The AE will define and execute a territory plan, co-sell with MSP partners, and lead joint GTM initiatives to expand 1Password’s reach and revenue. Success in this role requires deep understanding of MSP business models, and cross-functional collaboration to drive partner activations and measurable outcomes. The AE will also serve as a key internal advocate for MSPs, ensuring alignment with 1Password’s fast-paced, partner-led strategy.
Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in complex sales, channel, and business development in the MSP channel, with a focus on building executive relationships.
Strong consultative selling approach with executive-level relationship-building skills within partner organizations.
You have established relationships and have sold to large named MSPs.
Strong communication skills with a proven track record of sales achievements.
Strong organizational skills, a self-starter mentality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities remotely.
Ability to travel up to 50%+ as needed.
Track record of exceeding sales targets and driving significant revenue through channel partnerships.
Experience working in a high-growth or startup environment, adapting to rapid changes while delivering results.
Ability to coordinate and manage the delivery of impactful partner enablement, training, and go-to-market strategies.
High energy, accountability, and a results-oriented approach with a passion for building world-class channel partnerships.
Responsibilities:
You will build relationships and develop/grow existing key named accounts with large managed service providers, meeting or exceeding assigned sales quotas and objectives
Define and execute a territory business plan that identifies and explores new potential opportunities and strategies for driving productivity and high-quality pipeline, ultimately resulting in predictable outcomes and over achievement.
Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with executive and senior leadership in large, named MSPs to drive mindshare and commitment to 1Password solutions for greater customer reach
Provide accurate forecasting and reporting of all sales activities through salesforce.com.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize coverage and technology evangelism within target accounts.
Construct detailed account plans that highlight business value and demonstrate ROI
Demonstrate an excellent understanding of MSP Go-To-Market, Profitability and transformation goals
Negotiate complex deals and be involved in decision-making processes
Lead joint selling efforts with named MSPs, including account mapping, co-selling strategies, and pipeline development to accelerate revenue.
Enable and empower MSPs by delivering effective sales training, marketing programs, and demand generation initiatives.
Leverage data-driven insights to measure partner performance, adjust strategies, and maximize success.
Serve as an advocate for named MSPs internally, ensuring they receive the support and resources needed to drive sales and customer adoption.
Champion 1Password’s differentiation in the competitive landscape and position it as a leading security solution within the partner ecosystem.
Drive execution urgency, ensuring alignment with 1Password’s fast-paced growth and evolving partner strategy.
USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $112,000 USD and $152,00 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $109,000 CAD and $147,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
