The Impact of a Sr. FP&A Manager Analyst at Coupa:
We are seeking a highly strategic and analytical Sr. FP&A Manager to join our Go-to-Market (GTM) finance team, reporting directly to the Director of GTM Finance. This is a critical, high-visibility role that will serve as a key financial partner to our Sales and leadership supporting our Managing Director of America sales. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, private equity-sponsored environment, delivering precise, high-quality analysis under tight timelines. You will be instrumental in driving financial strategy, providing actionable insights, and responding to complex inquiries from our executive team and private equity sponsors.
What You'll Do:
- Act as a strategic financial advisor to the GTM leadership, providing data-driven insights to support decision-making and drive growth.
- Lead the annual operating plan, long-range planning, and recurring forecast processes for the GTM organization.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support ad hoc, complex analyses related to business performance and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare and present high-quality, precise reporting packages for senior leadership and our private equity sponsors in a timely manner.
- Provide in-depth analysis and reporting on key GTM metrics including:
- -New and Add-On ACV Bookings performance against budget and forecast.
- -Pipeline creation, coverage, and pacing by source and region.
- -Sales productivity and bookings per account executive by segment, product, and region.
- -Renewal bookings, renewal rates, and retention metrics including Gross and Net Retention Rates.
- Partner with GTM operations to analyze headcount, quotas, compensation plans, and sales productivity to optimize resource allocation.
- Support the preparation of board-level presentations, summarizing financial performance and key business drivers.
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with a significant portion supporting a GTM or Sales organization, preferably in the enterprise software/SaaS industry.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, ideally with experience in a private equity-backed company.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture and provide insightful analysis, not just report on the numbers.
- Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to handle complex, ad hoc requests with precision and speed.
- Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex topics into clear and concise narratives for an executive audience.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial planning systems and BI tools is a plus.
