About the Role
We're seeking an exceptional Strategic Account Manager to build and scale our enterprise client relationships during a period of rapid growth. In this highly visible role, you'll serve as the trusted advisor to our AmLaw 100 and financial institution clients, ensuring they realize transformative value from Centari's platform while positioning us for expansion and renewals.
This is a foundational hire who will help establish our strategic account management function from the ground up. You'll work directly with our CEO and leadership team to develop the playbooks, processes, and frameworks that will drive client success as we scale. The ideal candidate brings startup experience, a track record of managing demanding enterprise relationships, and a deep understanding of the complex buying environments within law firms and financial institutions.
You'll manage a portfolio of our most strategic accounts, seamlessly navigating between relationship building, technical problem-solving, and value realization. This role requires someone who thrives in ambiguity, can build trust with senior stakeholders, and possesses the warmth and emotional intelligence to handle challenging dynamics with grace.
Core Responsibilities
Develop and nurture C-suite and partner-level relationships at prestigious law firms and financial institutions
Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms to track client health and forecast retention at every touchpoint.
Develop and implement scalable onboarding, support, and renewal processes, including partnership with Sales on expansion opportunities.
Develop trusted advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders.
Work hands-on with our Product, Sales, Engineering, and Applied Legal Research teams to incorporate customer feedback into our roadmap.
Build customer advocacy programs to drive referrals and case studies.
Create and deliver quarterly business reviews that demonstrate measurable value
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to incorporate client feedback into our roadmap
Requirements
7+ years of enterprise account management experience in B2B SaaS, with proven success managing sophisticated client relationships
Startup experience building and scaling a strategic account function
Direct experience with complex enterprise SaaS implementations.
Proven track record of managing demanding enterprise clients in legal tech, fintech, or similar highly regulated verticals
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust with C-suite executives and firm partners
Strong project management abilities and attention to detail
Experience with complex technical product implementations
Demonstrated ability to achieve high GRR/NRR and CSAT/NPS scores.
Willingness to travel up to 25% for onsite client meetings
Based in or willing to relocate to NYC
