Position overview

Lead and inspire our Business & Application Consulting team (8 experts) to shape the future of TOMRA’s business processes and applications. You will orchestrate activities across Finance, Sales, Service, Engineering, Procurement, Warehousing, Quality, and Production – ensuring everything connects seamlessly from end to end. As Capability Owner for Operations/Production, you’ll set the strategic direction, scout innovations, and drive impactful changes that make a real difference. Working hand in hand with the Enterprise Architect, you will design a scalable, future-ready application landscape. Your leadership will create transparency, build strong partnerships, and deliver measurable value across the business.

 

Your Responsibilities 

  • Disciplinary and professional leadership of the Business & Application Consulting team (currently 8 members)
  • Coordinate and prioritize all activities across domains (Finance, Sales, Service, Engineering, Procurement, Warehousing, Quality, Production)
  • Act as Capability Owner for the domain Operations/Production and drive the strategic development of related processes and applications
  • Ensure process continuity and support the end-to-end integration of business processes across systems
  • Guide the team in their roles as Process Stewards for their respective domains, with responsibility for both business processes and supporting applications
  • Guide the team in implementing and evolving business capabilities in alignment with enterprise architecture and business strategy
  • Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Architect to maintain a consistent and scalable application landscape
  • Drive the strategic roadmap for business applications in the respective domains, including lifecycle planning and innovation scouting
  • Support the team in customizing/configuring systems (especially ERP) and ensure knowledge transfer and skill development
  • Actively manage stakeholder relationships with business departments, ensuring transparency, alignment, and value delivery
  • Represent ISM in cross-functional initiatives and projects, ensuring the integration of business needs and technical feasibility
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and governance processes

 

 

Qualifications

Your Profile

  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in leading and developing teams, ideally in a cross-functional, domain-oriented setup
  • Strong background in IT project and application management, especially with ERP systems (e.g. IFS) and related business applications
  • Strategic understanding of the long-term development of ERP, PLM, and CRM as the core pillars of the company’s digital landscape
  • Ability to translate business capabilities into system and process requirements, with a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes
  • High proficiency in stakeholder management, including communication with business leaders, IT, and external partners
  • Experience in digitization initiatives and supporting the development of digital products and services in collaboration with business units
  • Openness to emerging technologies such as AI and their potential impact on business processes and applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
  • Experience in process continuity management, including incident handling, change management, and continuous improvement
  • Familiarity with customizing/configuring business applications and guiding others in implementation
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with a passion for cross-functional teamwork
  • Fluent German and English skills are required; native-level German is preferred
