Technical Recruiter | Acorns

Every strong team starts with a thoughtful hire. Someone who brings the skills, perspective, and heart to help build something greater. At Acorns, our recruiters make that possible by connecting mission-driven people to work that matters.

We’re looking for a Technical Recruiter to help us grow the teams building the future of financial wellness, at both Acorns and GoHenry. You’ll manage full-cycle recruiting for Engineering, Data, and Analytics roles, while helping improve the systems and processes that support great hiring.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with hiring managers and cross-functional leaders to deepen our expertise in how we source, evaluate, and hire candidates. From day one, you’ll help shape how we find, hire, and support the people behind our mission, across two companies working together to help millions grow financial wellness for themselves and their families.

Acorns is a remote-first organization, offering the flexibility to work remotely while providing optional access to office space in Irvine, CA.

What you will do at Acorns:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers across Engineering, Data, Analytics, and Product to understand role requirements and deliver great hiring outcomes.

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, ensuring a seamless, values-aligned candidate experience from outreach to offer.

  • Develop a deep understanding of roles across Core Engineering, QA, SDET, Tech Ops, Information Security, Product Management, and Data & Analytics for both Acorns and GoHenry.

  • Proactively source and maintain pipelines of uniquely talented, diverse candidates using creative and targeted outreach strategies.

  • Support technical recruiting operations at GoHenry, including coordinating agency communication and helping maintain interview processes.

  • Contribute to recruiting reports and help track performance metrics to support team insights and improvements.

  • Work closely with HR and hiring teams to support employer brand initiatives and recruiting programs.

  • Support key programs, including offshore recruiting partnerships and Acorns’ Engineering Internship Program, contributing to interview design, SOPs, and vendor oversight.

What you will bring to Acorns:

  • 3+ years of technical recruiting experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments

  • Deep familiarity with hiring software engineers, security engineers, designers, and product managers

  • Insight into ML, AI, and LLM-related technical trends and talent landscapes

  • Proven track record of identifying and closing high-caliber talent across engineering disciplines

  • Strong operational rigor with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset

  • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to partner at all levels of an organization

  • Hunger to deliver game-changing products

  • Exceptional drive and precision in delivery

  • A belief that your work is tied to your life's mission

  • Optimistic about the potential of societal change

You are not expected to have experience with all listed requirements. If you feel passionate about Acorns' mission, vision, and values, please apply.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary and stock options

  • A comprehensive benefits package for you and your family

  • Flexible work location, hours, and paid time off

  • 401(k) matching

  • Monthly Acorns account contribution & GoHenry account for your family

  • Mindfulness and Financial Wellness resources, Headspace and Addition Wealth

  • Acorns Career Development Program (Ongoing training sessions, development plans, development check-ins, Cornerstone’s online training platform)

  • Roots Leadership Program for Emerging Leaders

  • Community week onsite gatherings and various virtual events

  • Talented and motivated team members who care deeply about one another, our mission, and our customers.

  • The rare opportunity to create a new world. We inspire one another every day to do meaningful work that solves big societal challenges.
