Position Summary
The Vice President of Cloud Hosting Services is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and overseeing the sales and client success strategy for our Cloud Hosting portfolio. This individual will lead a small team of sales executives and client architects focused on acquiring new customers and expanding services within the existing client base. The ideal candidate has a strong track record in managed services, cloud hosting, and solution selling, and is capable of leading cross-functional efforts to align technology offerings with client business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership: Define and execute a comprehensive sales and business development strategy to grow the Cloud Hosting Services line of business. Drive net-new client acquisition and expand the footprint within the existing customer base.
Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of client architects and sales representatives, ensuring alignment to sales targets, account strategy, and client satisfaction goals. Hire, onboard, and develop top sales and technical talent.
Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain executive relationships with key clients and prospects to understand business needs and position cloud hosting solutions accordingly. Serve as an executive sponsor on strategic accounts and major deals.
Go-to-Market Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Product, and Service Delivery teams to build compelling value propositions, GTM campaigns, and service offerings. Provide voice-of-customer feedback to influence product development and service enhancements.
Forecasting & Performance Management: Own revenue targets and pipeline forecasting. Monitor performance metrics and ensure team accountability to quotas and KPIs. Identify and resolve sales blockers to accelerate deal velocity.
Thought Leadership & Market Intelligence: Stay current on cloud hosting trends, competitive landscape, and evolving customer needs. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and in strategic customer discussions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent years of experience
- 7+ years of experience in IT/Cloud/Managed Services with a focus on infrastructure and hosting solutions
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience, ideally overseeing both sales and pre-sales technical roles
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving client growth in B2B enterprise environments
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure models (public/private/hybrid), hosting services, data center operations, and security/compliance requirements
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Experience in scaling cloud services organizations from early growth stages
- Background in IT consulting, solution architecture, or technical pre-sales
- Familiarity with cloud hosting services and platforms
- Experience selling to healthcare, financial services, or regulated industries

COMPENSATION
Compensation for this role includes a base salary, commission and a comprehensive benefits package.
