The Operations team plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless end-to-end execution of our AI-IaaS infrastructure and hardware. This team is responsible for sourcing all necessary infrastructure and components, overseeing day-to-day data center operations to maintain optimal performance and uptime, and driving cross company coordination through product management organization to align operational capabilities with strategic goals. By managing the full lifecycle from procurement to deployment and operational efficiency, the Operations team ensures that our AI-driven infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and aligned with business priorities.


Lambda is seeking an experienced and solutions-driven Warehouse & Operations Manager to lead warehouse operations & materials management at our San Jose facility. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of material handling, inventory control, and day-to-day warehouse execution. In addition, this individual will play a key role in designing and optimizing warehouse layout and space utilization to support scale, efficiency, and deployment readiness.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, hands-on experience with warehouse systems and processes, and a continuous improvement mindset in managing high-value hardware and complex material flows.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, putaway, picking, staging, shipping, and internal transfers

  • Manage accurate handling and movement of high-value materials such as GPUs, servers, and networking components

  • Design and optimize warehouse layout, racking systems, and storage strategies for improved space utilization and efficiency

  • Develop and implement warehouse SOPs for material movement, inventory transactions, and physical control

  • Own and drive cycle count programs and physical inventory audits in coordination with finance and accounting

  • Ensure timely and accurate ERP transactions (NetSuite preferred) for inventory movement and tracking

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and audit-ready warehouse environment in line with company standards

  • Monitor and improve warehouse KPIs related to inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and throughput

  • Identify and lead continuous improvement projects focused on warehouse process optimization and scalability

  • Train, mentor, and manage warehouse team members to ensure operational excellence and accountability

You

  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse and materials management, preferably in high-tech or hardware environments
    Proven experience in warehouse layout planning, space optimization, and process improvement

  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles, warehouse systems, and ERP software (NetSuite a plus)

  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification preferred)

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational discipline

Nice to Have

  • Experience in data center, electronics, or hardware deployment environments
    Familiarity with lean warehousing, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies

  • Exposure to fixed asset tracking and audit support processes

Salary Range Information 

Based on market data and other factors, the annual salary range for this position is $94,000 - $139,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
