About the role:
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for enhancing our software development lifecycle through automation, collaboration, and infrastructure optimization. Within our DevOps team, you will play a crucial role in implementing and managing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), ensuring the reliability, scalability, and, most importantly, security of our systems while fostering a culture of continuous improvement across multiple teams.

Apply best security practices across all systems and environments, including vulnerability management, access control, and compliance requirements.
Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment processes.
Collaborate with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to optimize workflows and improve the overall software development lifecycle
Support the implementation and management of infrastructure as code to provision and configure cloud resources
Work with other technical teams to troubleshoot infrastructure issues in production and non-production environments, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on operations
Manage software releases for production systems in collaboration with development, quality assurance, and infrastructure teams
Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve automation, efficiency, and reliability in our infrastructure and deployment processes
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure DevOps cultures align with business objectives
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration
Develop and maintain documentation to support SDLC processes
Participate in incident response activities as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields
Over 4 years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer
Proficiency in programming languages such as Bash, Python, and PowerShell
Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), preferably GCP
Experience creating infrastructure as code using Terraform or Ansible
Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, preferably Google Kubernetes Engine
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins
Practical experience in managing Linux and Windows operating systems
Experience with security best practices and the ability to implement security measures in the software development or infrastructure lifecycle
Experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and change management systems/processes
Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols
Excellent problem-solving skills
Experience with cloud infrastructure transformation and monitoring initiatives
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Desirable skills:
Relevant certifications such as Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer (GCP), Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer, and Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems
Experience with agile development methodologies
Experience with version control systems like Git
Experience in application and infrastructure observability
