Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer with hands-on expertise in Snowflake and Databricks to join our fast-growing Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-based data pipelines that power data-driven decision-making for our clients.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, secure, and efficient data architectures in dynamic cloud environments. If you're passionate about solving data challenges and enabling enterprise-wide analytics, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and Databricks

  • Work closely with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements

  • Optimize workflows for performance, cost, and scalability on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

  • Implement data quality checks, lineage tracking, and monitoring systems

  • Support data migration and modernization initiatives

  • Document data models, technical processes, and best practices

  • Participate in client-facing meetings to provide technical guidance

  • Adhere to data governance, security, and privacy standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role

  • Proven expertise in Snowflake (data modeling, SnowSQL, performance tuning)

  • Proficiency in Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, notebooks, ML pipelines)

  • Strong SQL and Python (or Scala) skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

  • Familiarity with version control and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git)

  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Snowflake and/or Databricks certifications

  • Consulting or MSP experience

  • Familiarity with data governance tools like Collibra or Alation

  • Exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
