Role Overview
As a Securitization Officer, you will be fundamental in structuring, executing, and managing securitization operations for our short-term consumer receivables, developing sophisticated financial models and coordinating all stakeholders to drive strategic funding and investment decisions. Here's what your day-to-day will look like:
Lead Securitization Operations. Be fundamental in the structuring, execution, and ongoing management of securitization operations for our portfolios of short-term consumer receivables.
Develop Advanced Financial Models. Work on the development, implementation, and maintenance of sophisticated financial models, such as cash flow and valuation models, specific to Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) transactions.
Manage End-to-End Deal Execution. Oversee the entire end-to-end execution process for securitization deals, from supporting origination and preparing key transaction documents to creating marketing materials for investors and rating agencies.
Coordinate Internal & External Stakeholders. Coordinate and maintain crucial relationships with a wide range of internal teams (e.g., Legal, Risk, Treasury) and external parties (e.g., Investment Banks, Rating Agencies, Investors), including managing the extensive due diligence process.
Provide Strategic Insights & Compliance. Track key performance indicators, ensure compliance with transaction covenants and triggers, prepare periodic investor reports, and provide strategic recommendations to senior management regarding funding strategies and potential risks.
Who we’re looking for:
We need a problem-solver who loves teamwork and gets things done. If you're curious and ready for real ownership, you'll fit in! Does this sound like you?
Relevant education and experience. You hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field. You bring 3-5 years of relevant experience in asset-backed securitization, ideally with exposure to consumer loans or short-term receivables. Prior experience within a fintech environment, or with financing/analyzing fintech lenders offering innovative consumer credit products, is a strong plus.
Strong technical and analytical skills. You have advanced proficiency in financial modeling, particularly cash flow modeling. You are comfortable working with and analyzing large datasets, potentially using tools like SQL. Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
Structured communication and collaboration. You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to various stakeholders. You are adept at building relationships, managing expectations, and driving processes collaboratively across diverse internal and external parties.
Regulatory awareness and detail orientation. You have a solid understanding of core ABS regulations (e.g., risk retention, disclosure) and are aware of consumer protection regulations relevant to short-term consumer credit.
Adaptability and market interest. You are proactive, results-oriented, and possess the adaptability needed to navigate a dynamic landscape. You are passionate about the FinTech sector, particularly innovative consumer financing solutions, and stay informed about market trends and regulatory changes.
Don't worry if you don't tick every box. We believe in the power of different viewpoints and strengths. Your unique perspective is important as we build something special. If you're passionate and can make a difference, we truly encourage you to apply.
