The MDM Lead will be responsible for defining and executing the master data strategy across the MSP’s service portfolio, including IT infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, and network operations. This role ensures the integrity, consistency, and governance of master data to support service delivery, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and lead the MDM strategy for core data domains such as customer, service, asset, and configuration data.
Collaborate with service delivery, operations, sales, and finance teams to align data standards and governance practices.
Implement and maintain MDM tools and processes to support accurate and consistent data across ITSM, CRM, ERP, and monitoring platforms.
Define and enforce data governance policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client SLAs.
Lead data quality initiatives including profiling, cleansing, and enrichment of operational and customer data.
Oversee integration of master data across systems such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, and CMDBs.
Monitor data quality KPIs and provide regular reporting to leadership.
Mentor and guide data stewards and analysts across business units.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and document new requirements to add additional data domains following established processes.
Contribute and lead business awareness and training sessions on MDM & DQ topics
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within an MSP or IT services environment.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Strong understanding of ITIL processes, service management, and CMDB structures.
Experience with MDM tools (e.g., Informatica, SAP MDG, IBM InfoSphere) and ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree or certifications such as CDMP, ITIL, or DAMA.
Experience with cloud-native data platforms and automation tools.
Knowledge of cybersecurity and compliance data requirements in managed services.
