Job Description

Natcast (short for The National Center for the Advancement of Semiconductor Technology) is a new, purpose-built, non-profit entity created to operate the National Semiconductor Technology Center (NSTC) consortium, established by the CHIPS Act of the U.S. government.

Program Coordinator

In this role you will support the successful execution of Natcast's strategic programs, ensuring operational excellence while fostering collaboration across the semiconductor ecosystem. You will also support technical project management functions, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Every day you will coordinate complex program activities, maintain critical documentation, and facilitate effective communication that enables our teams to advance semiconductor innovation.

To thrive in this role you must combine strong organizational skills with process excellence, demonstrating the ability to both manage program details and support strategic initiatives with unwavering attention to quality.

Through the National Semiconductor Technology Center (NSTC), Natcast drives technological advancement through collaborative partnerships, cutting-edge facilities, and a commitment to maintaining U.S. leadership in semiconductor technology.

This position plays a crucial role in ensuring program success through effective coordination and support. Working within the Program Management Office (PMO), this role requires exceptional organizational abilities combined with strong process orientation and technical management to support the delivery of strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Support program planning and execution activities, including developing and managing plans, schedules, and budgets.

  • Coordinate cross-functional program meetings and facilitate stakeholder communications.

  • Maintain and update program documentation, materials, and tracking systems.

  • Monitor program timelines, deliverables, and track program metrics and status.

  • Support governance processes, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

  • Assist with resource coordination and ensure technical deliverables meet quality and performance standards.

  • Use program management tools to track progress and deliverables.

  • Coordinate program logistics to ensure smooth operation.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 2+ years of project or program coordination experience, including technical project management

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational and planning skills

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication capabilities

  • Demonstrated attention to detail and self-motivated work approach

  • Proficiency with project tracking tools and ability to work independently

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA)

  • Process documentation and process improvement experience

  • Knowledge of delivery frameworks (e.g. Agile, Kanban)

  • CAPM or PMP certification

  • Experience with WBS development

  • Understanding of semiconductor industry
